About Me

My name is OSCAR GOMEZ

I am a freelance animator, motion designer, and director based in Melbourne, Australia. I partner with agencies, organisations, and creative teams to bring stories to life through animation.

My work spans everything from character-driven storytelling and social impact campaigns to educational content, documentaries, and commercial projects. No matter the brief, my goal is always the same: create work that resonates with people and serves a clear purpose.

What clients value most isn't just the final animation. It's knowing they have a trusted creative partner throughout the process, someone who can guide ideas from concept to completion, solve problems early, communicate clearly, and consistently deliver exceptional work on time and on budget.

I love every stage of the process, from shaping the story and designing characters to crafting motion and refining the final details. Because those details matter. They create the foundation where stories live.

When I'm not animating, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, playing guitar, listening to music, reading, or drinking coffee.
